Bob Klecha is the owner of Idaho County Solar. Bob arrived in Idaho in 1977, after learning about solar energy at a Rainbow Gathering that year in Roseburg,, Oregon. He had helped set up the stage for the music at the gathering, as well as the solar panel to power the speakers. He thought to himself, “Man, I gotta get one for my place!”
Two years later, he began his career in setting up solar energy systems. Today, is is one of Idaho’s leading solar consultants, working mainly in and around Idaho County, Sun Valley, Treasure Valley, Garden Valley and McCall. He’s delivered systems by boat to islands and by winch to mountaintops
